Saved by the Wilts and Berks Canal Trust and restored by their volunteers, the pub now offers real ales. Winner of a CAMRA Design Award in 2020, it is home to both skittles and darts teams. There is a beer garden and a log burner for the winter. The pub is alongside the former Wilts and Berks canal. Note that the road down Lyneham Bank is likely to be closed well into 2024 due to major subsidence, but the road from the west (Chippenham and M4) is open.
