See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Dating back to 1361, The George sits in the National Trust village of Lacock, famed for it's abbey and Fox-Talbot museum. The pub still has its old oak beams and a large inglenook fireplace with a dog driven spit still in place. The full range of Wadworth beer is rotated along with a guest ale. Locally sourced food served with a friendly service is available. Real cider and perry is always available. A beer festival is held in the summer.
