A popular and welcoming pub near the Kennet and Avon canal with a strong community focus. The outside area features dining pods, a decking area and a large hidden beer garden. Inside the pub is a bar area and a pool/TV room that can also be used for dining. Always two cask ales, with a third on Fridays. The pub is open all day throughout the year, and dining has been extended. There are regular quiz nights and it hosts local traditions such as the annual pumpkin competition and the inter-village cricket match.
