March 2024: Planning granted for conversion to flats. Restored large historic inn overlooking a large pond. Renowned for its excellent food prepared from fresh local produce and cooked to order. Home smoked and cured meat, fish, poultry and game. This establishment offers a unique blend, being both a destination gastronomic restaurant and the village pub. Although clearly majoring on its food and fine wines, it also offers a village bar serving real ales as well as hosting skittles, live music and quizzes and private parties in its large lakeside function rooms. Five open fires in the winter. Large terrace and gardens overlooking the lake in summer. Large Car Park.
