Chippenham Beer Festivals Past

The Chippenham Beer Festival has a long and illustrious history. We were delighted to run it again at the Olympiad in 2022, and we look forward to welcoming you all again in 2023. Below are a list of previous festivals.

2017 Beers of the Festival:
    1st - Red IPA from the Chippenham Brewery.
    2nd - Plum Porter from Titanic.
    3rd - Dark Ruby from Sarah Hughes.
Ciders of the Festival:
    1st - Rhubarb - Mates.
    2nd - Press Head - Hand Made.
    3rd - Magpie - Mates.

Festival goers donated just short of £900 to local charities.
2016 Beer of the festival:
    Mexi-Cocoa choc-vanilla stout from The Rebel Brewing, Co.
Cider of the festival:
    Spring Surprise from Handmade Cider.
2015 Beer of the festival:
    Dibber from Shed Ales, Well Done Gordon.
Cider of the festival:
    Spring Surprise from Handmade Cider, Well Done Dennis
2014 Beer of the Festival:
    Goose Eye - Over and Stout.
Cider of the Festival:
    Hand Made Cider - Spring Surprise.
2013 Beers of the Festival:
    1st - Dark Star, American Pale Ale (last years runner up).
    2nd - Box Steam, Evening Star.
Ciders & Perrys of the Festival:
    1st - Westons, Old Rosie & Handmade, White Lable (joint 1st place).
    3rd - Handmade, Crazy Diamond.
2012 Beers of the Festival:
    1st - Oakham, Citra.
    2nd - Cairngorm, Trade Winds and Dark Star, American Pale Ale.

    1st - Moles - Black Rat Perry.
    2nd - Westcroft - Janets Jungle Juice.
    3rd - Sherston Cider - Special Reserve
