At the start of the year, we asked branch members to nominate pubs for both inclusion in the next Good Beer Guide and for Pub of the Year.

Then, in early March, teams of judges visited the eight pubs which received the most member votes, to select our branch Pub of the Year.

The votes have been counted and verified, and I am delighted to announce the results. The winner, our branch Pub of the Year for 2026, is the Three Cups in Malmesbury. Judges were highly impressed by the pub's community spirit and friendly atmosphere. Runner up, with a highly commended award, is last year's winner, the Old Road Tavern in Chippenham.
